Coin flip or wheel
Two options means a coin. Heads or tails, this or that, walk or drive, call or text: the flip is faster to read and there is nothing to set up first. Three or more options means a wheel, where you can see every choice at once and delete the ones that no longer apply. If a single throw feels too abrupt for something like should I buy it, switch the coin to best-of-three so the answer takes three throws instead of one. The randomness is the same either way; only the shape of the question changes.
