About the Workout Wheel

A workout you have to plan is a workout that is easy to postpone. The Workout Wheel removes the planning step: spin, do the exercise it lands on, spin again. The eight preset moves are common bodyweight exercises that need no equipment, so a session can happen in a living room, a hotel room, or a break between meetings.

You decide the dose. A typical pattern is ten spins with a fixed rep count per exercise, or one spin every five minutes across a workday as movement snacks. Edit the entries to match your level: swap burpees for wall push-ups, or add your own favorites. If you have an injury or a medical condition, choose exercises your doctor or physio has cleared.

Four quick steps

How to use it

  1. Set a simple rule first, such as 12 reps or 30 seconds per result.
  2. Adjust the entries so every exercise on the wheel is one you can do safely.
  3. Spin, complete the exercise, and rest briefly.
  4. Repeat for a set number of spins to finish the circuit.

Useful moments

Good for

  • Quick no-equipment circuits at home when motivation is low
  • Adding variety so a routine does not repeat the same order every day
  • Hourly movement breaks during remote work
  • Group sessions where each person spins their own next move
